Can you tell whether a song was made with Suno?

Acoustic AI signals cannot by themselves prove that a song was made with Suno or identify the Suno version.Check your music

Two different questions

An AI music detector asks whether sampled audio resembles patterns associated with generated music. A provenance check asks whether a file carries a verifiable record of its origin. These questions need different evidence.

Suno Checker provides the acoustic analysis. It is independent of Suno and does not expose a Suno-version attribution in its public results. A strong signal should lead to a closer review, not a claim that the file is definitively from Suno.

Suno Credentials and acoustic detection

Suno describes its Credentials checker as a provenance tool for newly downloaded Suno files, using C2PA credentials rather than general acoustic AI detection. Check its current documentation for supported downloads and formats.

A result from Suno Credentials should be interpreted within that tool’s stated scope. A missing credential and a low acoustic score are different findings; neither should be relabeled as proof of human authorship.

QuestionEvidence to examine
Are there acoustic AI signals?A music detector’s samples and scores
Does the file contain a Suno credential?Suno Credentials and the original downloaded file
Which exact generator version was used?Creation records or a provenance claim that actually specifies it
Who owns the music?Rights and production records, not a detector score

Checking a file in Suno Checker

Upload an authorized MP3, WAV, FLAC or M4A recording of 15 seconds to 10 minutes, up to 100 MB. A single file starts analysis immediately. For multiple tracks, use batch mode and submit the selected files.

Review the combined score alongside the individual signals. The result describes the sampled audio, not a verified Suno watermark, creator identity or license. Keep the original source and project history available when the decision matters.

What about Udio and other generators?

A general AI signal is not the same as generator identification. This service does not publish a verified Udio-specific accuracy claim or identify the exact source model. The same interpretation limit applies when checking a song described as coming from Udio or another generator.

Questions and answers

Is Suno Checker an official Suno service? No. Suno Checker is an independent service operated by fromband.
Can Suno Checker show the exact Suno version? No. The public tool reports acoustic detection signals, not a verified generator or version.
Should I use the original download?Keep the original file when checking provenance. Edited copies and acoustic scores answer different questions.
