Privacy policy
fromband operates Suno Checker. This notice explains which information the service processes and why. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to hi@fromband.com.
Audio and analysis results
Your browser reads the selected file and prepares up to 30 seconds of audio samples. The original file stays on your device. Samples are sent to our detection infrastructure and processed in memory to return a result. Uploaded music is never stored, and Suno Checker does not retain detection results or an analysis history. Audio is not used to train our models.
Results remain in the current page until cleared or you leave. CSV files are generated in your browser and saved only where you choose to download them.
Usage information and optional launch reservations
We process IP addresses to prevent abusive or excessive requests. The database stores hashed IP identifiers, request counts, periods and anonymous session identifiers, not audio or analysis results.
If you opt into the fromband waitlist, we store your email, language, consent timestamp and consent text version for the launch announcement. This is separate from analysis. Emails are deleted on withdrawal or fulfillment of that purpose. Contact hi@fromband.com to withdraw.
Cookies and advertising
Essential cookies maintain the anonymous detector session for up to one year.
We use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may process cookies, IP addresses, device information and ad interactions for ad delivery, measurement and personalization, depending on settings and applicable requirements. You can manage browser cookies and Google ad preferences.
Service providers and international processing
We use Cloudflare for site delivery, the gateway and operational and waitlist data; AWS for audio analysis; and Google for advertising. Providers process information under their policies, potentially outside your country, including in the United States.
We do not sell uploaded audio or detection results. We may disclose other information when necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations or address fraud and security incidents.
Retention and your choices
Audio and results are not retained. Usage and session metadata support limits and security; waitlist emails are retained for the purpose and period described above.
Contact hi@fromband.com to request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent. We may verify your identity and retain records required by law.
